Special Events 2011

We are currently working on a series of events from our property, throughout the spring, summer and fall.   We would like to invite you to join us as you can.  Please check in every now and again, and see the events we have added.  If you are unable to come when we have an “official” event, please feel free to call us, and see if there is availability for you to come and stay on the property, either camping, or you can take a room in our farm house.  We know that once you have come for visit, and had a chance to use our incredible trails, you will understand what a wonderful community we are in the process of building.   There is a charge of $25.00 a night for a water and electric hook up,  or stay in one of the tree double rooms in the farm house @ $25.00 a night for each room.   For your horses we have wooden fenced paddocks, and a few stalls, call to discuss your preference.   Please call Carol 828 788 3648  or email to arrange a visit.   We will have accomodations for people participating in our events, and you are welcome to stay extra days on each side depending on availability.

Saturday June 25 -   Ponie Express for Breast, THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO CAME, WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME!   WE RAISED OVER $700 FOR OUR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS.   WE HAD A GOOD MIX OF HIKERS AND RIDERS, AND SOME OF BOTH, GRANNY AND GRANDAD WALKING WITH THE GRANDKIDS ON THE HORSES, WHAT A GREAT IDEA!   NEXT ONE WILL BE ON NOVEMBER 12th THIS FALL, PLEASE PUT IT IN YOUR CALENDAR.

July 7 thru  August 4 - Happy Talk Farm will be visiting us again this year from Lutz Florida,  along with a group of  their students, both adult and children.   You  are invited to take riding lessons from Bonnie and Brittany in both English or Western, please call Bonnie @ 813 263 4137 to discuss the options available.

Sept. 24  A clinic for Yoga and Riding by Cathy Woods.

November 12 - Ponie Express for Breast- A fund raiser for breast cancer survivors.   Please save the date, and we will keep you posted as plans come together.   We will offer a similar day of hiking or riding, and plan to add more trails.   We will once again have a delicious lunch provided by River Rock Catering.   We are hoping to add some additional entertainment and or vendors, would love to hear from you with your ideas?

We will have regular camping and rooms available in the farm house, but we will also offer primitive camping, the only time we will, so take advantage of that too.   Please contact Carol for any more information or to make reservations,
