Special Events 2010

We are currently working on a series of events from our property, throughout the spring, summer and fall.   We would like to invite you to join us as you can.  Please check in every now and again, and see the events we have added.  If you are unable to come when we have an “official” event, please feel free to call us, and see if there is availability for you to come and stay on the property, either camping, or in a cabin (not on the property), on the dates of your choice.   We know that once you have come for visit, and had a chance to use our incredible trails, you will understand what a wonderful community we are in the process of building.   There is a charge of $25.00 a night for a water and electric hook up, plus a $20.00 or $15.00 a night for your horse.   Call us to discuss your plans.

June 11-14        Trail ride, pot luck supper on Saturday night.   You are welcome to stay more nights on either side.

COST FOR CAMP $450.00

 

CAMP DAYS- 9 AM TO 1 PM EACH DAY

Each day will consist of

• MOUNTED INSTRUCTION TO INCLUDE: DRESSAGE, JUMPING, INTRODUCTION TO WESTERN RIDING, VAULTING AND GAMES.
• DISMOUNTED INSTRUCTION TO INCLUDE SAFETY, GROOMING,CARE AND BARN CARE,  BREEDS, GENERAL HORSEMANSHIP, ANATOMY, AND  FEEDS AND FEEDING.

Lunch should be brought, or if pre arranged we will go out.

 

RIDING LESSONS: DRESSAGE AND JUMPING June 28 – July 10 by appointment

These lessons for the English rider, any level

PRIVATE 45 MINUTES $50

SEMI PRIVATE (2 RIDERS) 1 HOUR  $35 EACH

GROUPS (3 OR MORE RIDERS) 1 HOUR  $30 EACH

 

WESTERN LESSONS BY APPOINTMENT June 28 – July 10 by appointment

These lessons/workshops for the western rider at any level come for as many days as you choose.

PRIVATE 45 MIN.                                  $25.

SEMI-PRIVATE 1 HOUR                      $20.

GROUP 3 OR MORE 1 HOUR +         $15.

A 3 HOUR WESTERN RIDING PROGRAM WILL BE AVAILABLE BY RESERVATION

DETAILS ACCORDING TO INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.   2.00-5.00 pm daily.

COST 3 HOURS $35 ON YOUR HORSE   $50 ON OURS.

SPECIAL RATE FOR 4H MEMBERS-3 OR MORE RIDERS $10 EACH.

 

July 2                  Come Dance at the Depot. Kick off your 4th of July Celebration

                            Downtown Bryson City at the Rail Road Depot 6pm-9pm

                            Swing your partners, enjoy some instruction in the two step, the electric slide,                             you name it!

 

July 23-28         By invitation.

 

Sept 18-19        Back Country Horsemen of NC overnight camping, trail rides

 

Sept. 24-27       Trail ride, pot luck supper on Saturday night.   You are welcome to stay more nights on either side.

 

Oct. 15-18         By invitation
